Bilston & Battersea Ronald Reagan enamel box - RARE

Enameled on copper in Bilston, Staffordshire, England, this hand painted enamel box from Halcyon Days was issued as a limited edition of 250 boxes, a special commission to commemorate the late President Ronald Reagan.

The lid features a finely detailed image of the White House and Ronald Reagan as well as the dates 1911-2004. Inside the base of the box is a detailed American flag. The lid reads: "What I'd really like to do is go down in history as the President who made Americans believe in themselves again." With a Bilston & Battersea backstamp, this hand numbered treasure comes nestled in its blue velvet lined presentation case. 2.5" x 1 15/16" x 5/8".
